It's hard, picking up the few remaining pieces of one's shattered life. You can still see the bits and pieces of everything you once had and everything you once believed in the wreckage. They mock you. They remind you of everything you were. They show you what you will never be again no matter how hard you struggle. You can never go back to the way you were. There's no way to fix what has been broken. You can only move on.

I just have to figure out how.

Everything is going to hell.

  1. ... Oh, come on. Stop whining like an emo bitch and get on with saving your girlfriend. Seriously.

  2. Well, you've already gotten a big piece of it down. What you had is gone, and it won't ever come back. You'd be surprised how many people try to repair something that can't be fixed.

So now you move on. It's easier than you'd think. Just do it, because there's no other option.

    Good luck kid.

  4. Alex... fuck, Alex, this isn't the way. I know this isn't what you want to hear, but you're being selfish right now. Of COURSE it's never going to be like it was. We've been telling you this since day one. And maybe it's our fault for not being as clear as we could, but you must understand our position by now.

Bad shit happened. Worse shit is about to happen, if my instincts are correct. But don't you DARE think that you get to lie down and die because it's too hard to fix. If you fuck up, you fix your mistake. And if the mistake itself isn't fixable, then you keep going and put as much good into the world as your mistake took from it. Only then are you allowed to rest. Only then can you move on.
